HISTORICAL GEOLOGY

As a master's student with a graduate teaching assistantship, I had the opportunity to be the primary lab instructor for an undergraduate Historical Geology course for over two years. I was responsible for between 40-60 students each semester to strengthen, organize and communicate lab teaching materials. This role has provided me the opportunity to confirm my love for teaching as well as the experience to learn and practice leading a room full a students into a deep understanding of and excitement for the course material (even through the challenge of teaching fossils virtually)Below you will find student feedback from previous semesters.

STUDENT FEEDBACK

“Very thoughtful and understanding instructions that helped not only broaden understanding, but assist with the physical tasks at hand in a engaging and interactive manner. Never was afraid to ask a question, or say I didn't understand”
